Use the TiVo Stream mobile app to enjoy live TV, OnDemand content and recordings while on the go. Simply download the app from the App Store or Google Play and sign in using your Home Services My Account login credentials. To use the app, your device must be running iOS 17.0 or higher or Android 9 or higher.
Use the following options to find content in the TiVo Stream mobile app. They’re accessible from the bottom taskbar on an iPhone or iPad or from the menu on an Android device.
What to Watch: Displays a list of recommended and available programs.
OnDemand: Find or watch rented OnDemand content that you’ve ordered through your TiVo Stream DVR.
Guide: See all programs currently airing. You can use the magnifying glass icon to search for a specific program. Use the left and right arrows on either side of the date/time to find a specific timeslot.
To stream live TV, tap Guide in the bottom taskbar of your iPhone or iPad or tap Menu and then Guide on your Android device. Find channels and programs that are available to stream by looking for the streaming icon: ![]()
Tap on the program you'd like to stream live. On the program’s info screen, hit the Play button to play the show. The default option selected is Live TV. Selecting the drop-down arrow next to Live TV lists other options such as Restart.
Tapping the screen while the program streams displays the following on-screen controls:
Pause, skip back and skip forward, or you can drag the white circle on the green play bar to rewind or fast-forward.
Restart/Catch Up: If available, this option starts the program from the beginning.
Done: Tap to exit the playback.
Channel logo/number: To overlay the guide on top of your current stream, tap the information icon.
Volume bar: Drag the white circle on the blue bar to the right to raise and to the left to lower the volume.
Brightness bar: Select to adjust the brightness of the screen.
Speech balloon: Select to change the audio language.
Closed caption balloon: Select to turn closed captions on or off.
Access OnDemand content from the bottom taskbar on an iPhone or iPad or from the menu on an Android device.
Scroll from side to side to see all available categories.
Select a category to view subcategory thumbnails on the page. These categories will match those available in the OnDemand menu on your TiVo Stream DVR.
Once you've selected an episode or movie, you will be taken to that episode or movie’s info screen.
Underneath the Play icon at the top, you should see TiVo Stream OnDemand listed. Tap this to view other streaming options.
To play the program, tap the Play button. You may see a "Setting up your streaming” message before your show begins to play.
At this time, out-of-home access to some networks or content may not be available. OnDemand rentals can currently be rented from your TiVo Stream DVR. Once purchased, you can access and play the rental from My Shows in the mobile app.
OnePass will identify and record streaming, OnDemand and live TV content as episodes become available.
Creating a OnePass:
Find a program in the guide, select Create a OnePass for this series and tap OK or
Use search/voice search to find a program. Tap + Get This Show and then Create OnePass.
If you only wish to record a single show or episode you can select Record Episode and create a recording with the options required.

Access your recordings, downloads and OnePass content through My Shows. Find it in the bottom taskbar on an iPhone or iPad or in the menu on an Android device.
Bookmarks allow you to add streaming video links for episodes, seasons and movies into My Shows. These can be added from various places in the mobile app, such as from search, What to Watch or OnDemand.
Bookmarking a TV show or series:
Select the program you want to bookmark.
On the info page tap + Get This Show.
Choose between Bookmark Episode or Bookmark All Season.
Bookmarking a movie:
On info page, select the Bookmark Logo to bookmark the movie.

Use Start Over to restart a program while it's airing or Catch Up to watch programs within a few days of airing. Look for the green arrow icon in the guide or check the info pane to find programs that support these features.
Play, pause, skip forward, instant replay and scrub may not be available during playback of Start Over and Catch Up content.
Use parental controls to block TV shows and movies by rating or to lock specific channels. Parental controls do not block Pay Per View or OnDemand purchases.
Setting up a PIN for parental controls:
For iOS: navigate to More > Settings > Parental Controls and follow the on-screen prompts.
For Android: navigate to Menu > Settings > Parental Controls and follow the on-screen prompts.
Any changes will not be reflected in the app until you lock parental controls. Parental controls must be set up on each device individually.
Parental Control Options:
Lock Parental Controls: Toggle on to enable parental controls.
Hide Adult Content: Toggle on to remove all adult shows from search results and hide the title and description of adult shows in the guide and My Shows.
Set Rating Limits: You can block TV shows and movies based on their rating. If there is no rating associated, you can choose to block all unrated content or allow all unrated content.
Change PIN: Select to change your PIN. You must know your current PIN to change it.

An unmanaged device is a device that is not provided by Eastlink such as an Apple, Amazon Fire or Android TV. This enhancement gives customers the ability to download the TiVo Stream App on their unmanaged devices and enjoy Live TV, shows, DVR recordings, and OnDemand content without a TiVo Stream set-top box.

Select the price or Get button. If you see the Open button instead of a price or the Get button, the app is already downloaded.
